Overview

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt! Lucy Van Pelt (in Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz)

We would have to agree! There's no better way to experience some love and chocolate than to join us at our annual fundraiser, A Chocolate Affaire 2008.

As always, you can expect a fun-filled afternoon complete with decandent and scrumptious desserts, a variety of wines and other beverages, great music, lively guests, and irresistible auction items and services — all to benefit the work of Cornucopia House Cancer Support Center.

Walter Sturdivant is graciously serving as our Honorary Chair for the event. And he looks forward to seeing you there.

Tickets for A Chocolate Affaire 2008 are only $40 per person. Order now by calling us at 401-9333. And if you’d like to be a sponsor or know more about the benefits of sponsorship, ask to speak to Becky.

Don’t miss your chance to bid on some fabulous items and services at our silent and live auctions! In addition to those items listed below, there will be a few more special surprises you’ll have to be present to see.

So come join us! Use the opportunity to support an amazing cause while eating some truly spectacular creations, meeting some wonderful people and generally having a fantastic afternoon.

Music

The afternoon will be enlivened by the jazzy sounds of The Swingin' Chads, "a group of musicians dedicated to bringing their audience faithful renditions of tunes from the great American songbook such as Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Duke Ellington, just to name a few." More information about the Swingin' Chads can be found at www.danielentertainment.com.
